CIVoG, translate into Community Impact Volunteers of Ghana. It is a community led voluntary service organisation legally registered to operate under the registration number G-29,378.to provide meaningful and impactful community service opportunities to volunteers from across the globe in deprived rural communities in Ghana to create positive transformation through community led solutions. As a volunteer you work directly in the communities we support, with the local people, on education, childcare (orphanage) environmental conservation and sanitation, special need and disabled care, robotics training, medical and rural healthcare and seniors volunteer abroad program.

We are also a vociferous voice against child labour in all of our rural community visitations and project designs particularly on education.

CIVoG operates in the Eastern Region of Ghana in several rural communities and expanding to other regions at the north of Ghana where we have entered into partnership with other deprived rural communities there . We offer extensive support to our volunteers with the able presence of our committed field officers during the participation and stay of our volunteers in Ghana. This we facilitate by arranging in advance for our volunteers to stay with host families in descent accommodations. Host families are taken through a two-day orientation period to get them ready to receive volunteers. The objective for this is to enable Volunteers to be part of the Ghanaian family, learn the culture and traditions of the society and in the larger picture promote intercultural understanding and experience sharing.

Community Impact Volunteers of Ghana works closely and in collaboration with The Social Welfare Department, Environmental Protection Agency. Forestry Commission, National Commission for Civic Education, and the Municipal and District Education Directorates and the relationship is ever growing bigger because of the credibility of CIVoG.
